Pork and Turkey Heating Instructions

Pork Shoulder Boston Butt Roast

Keep pork shoulder in film.  The film is commercial grade and will not melt if in an oven less than 300 degrees.  Wrap entirely in foil if possible and put in a pan so no drippings will get on the interior of your stove.  Warming the pork will produce drippings that can be added to gravies if you desire.

Heat in oven at 225 degrees for approximately one hour.  It may take up to 90 minutes depending on each person’s oven, as all ovens work differently.

If you freeze your pork shoulder roast, the best way to thaw them is slow in the fridge over at least a two day period.

Many people separate them out into good size chunks and freeze them for portion controlled future meals.  This works very well.  Each portion should be wrapped in plastic wrap and then in a freezer bag.  The pork holds up pretty well like that too.  But nothing beats eating it soon!

Smoked Turkeys

If you are fortunate enough to have a Super Smokers BBQ Smoked Turkey for your special meal, we have the instructions to heat it up and get those taste buds salivating.

Keep the Turkey in the oven bag to heat.  The juices in the bag play a big role in keeping it moist.  It was placed in the bag right out of the smoker!

Pre-heat oven to 250 degrees. Place the turkey (still in bag and in its foil pan provided) in the oven and set timer for 90 minutes.  Check after 90 minutes, because all ovens are different and yours may require another 29 minutes to an hour of heating time.  Convection ovens will cook it at least 30 minutes quicker.  The turkey is already fully cooked so don't over do it!  Enjoy!  This is an annual treat at our house!

Smoked Turkey Breast

Keep the Turkey Breast in its commercial grade wrapping.  Your oven needs to be at 250 degrees.  In 29 to 45 minutes it should be ready to eat.  It is fully cooked so enjoy this melt in your mouth product!
